Dr. David Tybor

Dr. David Tybor is a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He grew up in Houston, Texas, but he has been a resident of Austin since 1983. He attended Texas A&M University and is a proud Aggie! Before he graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry, he decided to have THE premier eyecare practice where his patients would always come first. His commitment to patient care led him to be a leader in acquiring the most advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment available. He continues to have the most up to date technology in his practice. Dr. Tybor’s devotion to patient care extends beyond his patients. Since 1986 he has helped organizations throughout Austin that provide support to the homeless and working poor with eye care at no cost to their clients. Dr. David Tybor has been an adjunct Professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry and has been mentoring and teaching intern optometrists since 2005. He served as the President of the Central Texas Optometric Society three times and is an active member in the Texas Optometric Association.  In his Free time, Dr David Tybor enjoys playing golf and landscaping.

Dr. David Tybor has decades of experience caring for the families of south Austin. He takes pride in caring for families growing eye care needs as well as treating and managing glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eye. Dr Tybor is skilled in the co-management of surgical techniques such as LASIK and cataract surgeries.
