
Dr. David Tybor takes an active role in his community and his profession by getting to know his patients and keeping up with the latest eye care technology. A graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Houston College of Optometry, he also completed a concentrated glaucoma course, part of his continuing commitment to professional development. Dr. Tybor is a co-founder of LaserView Vision Center, an innovative eye care facility specializing in excimer scanning laser procedures such as LASIK. He is a former president of the board of directors for the Eye Care Providers of Texas and served as district coordinator for both the Political Liaison Committee and the Mentor Committee for the Texas Optometric Association. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, past-president of the NFP Board of Directors and served on the Dominican Academy School Board. Dr. Tybor is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Houston College of Optometry, as well as president of the Central Texas Optometric Society.

Dr. Christi Payne (formerly Walsh) received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hendrix College in 2001. In 2005, she graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern State University with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist, completed Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Payne has been at Oak Hill Eye Care since January 2007. Prior to moving to Austin, she worked at several practices in Dallas, Texas. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and Central Texas Optometric Society. |
